Adrenaline Junkies Here's Your Chance

The Stroke Association presents Frankie Says Slide 2012 a 918ft Zip Slide across the River Tyne embracing an 80s theme on the 17th and 18th March.

Adrenaline junkies this is your chance. The event takes place at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.

This will be a fantastic once in a lifetime experience! 700 people are expected to take part. There will be a photographer, DJ, prizes for best (fancy) dressed, refreshment wagons and of course your special gift as a memento of your day. You also get to do something amazing for a well deserving cause!

120,000 people every year in the UK suffer their first stroke. Stroke is also the UK’s third biggest killer. Your support in making our fundraising event a success will help the Stroke Association work towards a world where there are fewer strokes and those affected by stroke get the help and support they need.
